Calling all ghosts and witches, vampires and werewolves, clowns and cowboys . . . We’ve got a lot of fun, free Halloween-themed activities planned at Albany’s libraries in the next two weeks.
The featured event is “Halloween in the Hills” — a kids dance and costume party scheduled for Friday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch. We’ll have a live DJ and dancing, yummy snacks and candy, fun crafts and face painting, and a costume contest with prizes. This party is geared toward elementary- and middle-schoolers and their caregivers.
Another fun event for the whole family is a live telling of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by NYS Assemblyman Jack McEneny on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 4:30 p.m. at the Howe Branch. Come early to make fun Halloween crafts and decorate a pumpkin to take home.
