Capital District Habitat for Humanity joins us on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 pm at the Main Library to talk about their latest work in our community. You’ll meet Dave Harrison and learn more about how you can get involved with Habitat for Humanity.
The local Habitat organization was founded in 1988 and serves Albany, Rensselaer, and southern Saratoga counties and has built more than 70 homes for area families. Habitat is currently involved in the Sheridan Hollow Redevelopment Project in Albany and the Fox Hollow Project in South Troy. Habitat also operates the ReStore on Fuller Road, which sells new and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture, and tools at reduced prices.
