Browsing the Collection

  • Browsing of the collection is allowed inside at five of branches: Arbor Hill/West Hill, Bach, Delaware, Howe, and Pine Hills.
  • Appointments to browse are strongly encouraged. Walkups may be allowed, but you may have to wait to enter the building until there is enough space for social distancing or make an appointment to return at another time.
  • Select parts of each building’s collections will be available. The library materials may be in a different spot than you’re used to, so please ask the staff to help you find what you’re looking for.
  • Checkouts will be done inside the branches.
  • Other parts of the buildings, including restrooms, will be closed to the public.
