The Albany Public Library Board of Trustees has three new trustees and a slate of new officers.
Three new trustees, who were elected in May, were sworn into office at the July 10 meeting at the Howe Branch. Arlene Way, Daniel Curtis, and Mary-Ellen Piche are serving five-year terms.
The board also unanimously elected four new officers: Holly McKenna as president, Donna Dixon as vice president, Andrew Bechard as vice president for finance, and Arlene Way as secretary. The trustees serve in these posts for one year.
The APL Board of Trustees meets the second Tuesday of the month. All meetings are open to the public. The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bach Branch (455 New Scotland Avenue).
