Summer Reading is for Adults, Too

June 18, 2019 | Adult Services

You know you’re going to read this summer, so why not win some prizes for it? That’s the premise of our adult Summer Reading Challenge!

Between June 17 and Aug. 30, all you have to do is track what you read and share the titles with us. The more you read, the more prizes you earn.

  • Read 3 books | Lip balm
  • Read 6 books | Memo cube
  • Read 9 books | Metal bookmark
  • Read 12 books | Wallet/zipper pouch
  • Read 20 books | Exclusive APL Summer Reading Challenge t-shirt

You can register for the challenge and return your reading record to any APL branch.

Or, you can join our Goodreads group and record you books there

The library branches also have weekly bookmarks with lists of recommended titles, which can help you find your next read. The weekly topics include: “star-crossed lovers,” “rockstars,” “out of this world,” and “universe of stories.”
