Be sure to submit your tracker and pick up your Summer Reading prizes by Friday, Aug. 29!
This year’s Summer Reading Challenge includes wonderful programs, themed book suggestions, and fun prizes for all!
REGISTRATION:
- Summer Reading is for all ages! Stop by your neighborhood branch, fill out a registration form, and receive a paper tracker.
- Adults: you also have the option of participating through Goodreads. Create a free Goodreads account and join the Albany Public Library Group. You can also get book suggestions and chat with fellow readers on Goodreads.
PRIZES:
Challenge yourself to read 1,000 minutes and participate in four APL-themed activities this summer!
- Everyone can use the Summer Reading tracker to keep track of their reading and library activities.
- A prize is given out at the 500 minutes-read mark.
- And the final prize is given out once you’ve read 1,000 minutes and completed four activities.
