Albany Public Library

The award-winning Garage Bands in the Garage concert series returns to the Main Library this summer. The all-ages, after-hours shows feature live music by great local bands playing in the garage of the Main Library (at the Elk Street parking lot entrance). All shows run on select Friday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and also feature a CD/DVD garage sale with $1 items.

This year’s Garage Bands concert lineup includes:

June 22 — The Blisterz and The Mysteios

July 20 — The Slaughterhouse Chorus and The Pistolwhips

August 17 — Henry’s Rifle and Complicated Shirt

September 21 — Alta Mira and Giles Bennett & The Petrified Woods

The shows are co-sponsored by 97.7 WEXT.
