  • Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
  • Loan period is 7 days, no renewals.
  • Limit of 3 reservations at a time.
  • Limit of 3 passes at a time.
  • Passes are delivered to your email, but most venues require a print-out of the email for admission. Passes can be printed for free at any APL branch.
  • A physical pass must be returned to the branch where you borrowed it.
  • If your plans change, please cancel your reservation by calling any Albany Public Library branch so that another patron can use the pass.
  • You can check pass availability through the online catalog, but physical passes are first-come, first-served.
  • Non-APL Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS) card holders must visit an APL branch to reserve/print a pass.
  • There is a replacement fee for physical passes that are not returned. The fee is equal to the cost of the pass to APL. There is a $5.00 replacement fee for a lost pass case.

Museums may require valid photo ID for entry.
