Participate in Winter Reading and Share Your Favorite Book

January 23, 2024 | Library News

It’s time to get involved in the APL Winter Reading (Not a Challenge) Challenge! It’s open to readers of all ages.

We encourage you to read whatever you want in January and February. Yes, any kind of book (memoir, fiction, history, mystery, graphic novel, etc.) And listening to audiobooks definitely counts!

Then tell us the best book you read this winter:

(1) Fill out a Winter Reading bookmark at one of the branches and drop it in the collection box.

(2) Or you can email your favorite book title to us at albanyreads@albanypubliclibrary.org.

Your name will be entered into a prize raffle. We’ll have two prize winners at each of the seven branches (1 adult and 1 youth). Prizes include gift cards for the Book House for adults and the LEGO store for youth.

Submissions are due March 1, so get reading and let us know your favorite book of the winter!
