Participate in Books by Mail Service

January 23, 2025 | Library News

APL patrons who are visually impaired or have another disability that makes it difficult to visit the library can get audiobooks and large print books delivered to their homes through the free Books by Mail service provided by the Upper Hudson Library System.

Eligible patrons can receive up to three large print or audiobooks (CD) at a time, at no cost. Books arrive in your mailbox in a library mail bag. Read and listen at your leisure. When you’re ready to return the books, put them in the library bag and place it back in your mailbox. Then you can request three more items.
