February Vacation Activities for Kids at the Library

Beat the winter break blues with some fun and educational activities at the library!

Our branches are hosting special programs and events to keep kids and teen entertained during school vacation Feb. 19-23. And best of all, these fun events are free and open to everyone!

Here is a sampling of the free programs planned for kids and teens at APL libraries. For a complete list, visit the library’s online calendar.

FEB. 19 | MONDAY
Art Project | 1:00-2:00 pm | Delaware Branch | The Tang Teaching Museum stops by to lead a fun art project. | No registration | For ages 5-12

Duct Tape Extravaganza | 4:00-5:00 pm | Delaware Branch | Learn how to make duct tape wallets, flowers, and bowties. | No registration | For ages 13-17

• Monster Drawing & Painting | 1:00-2:00 pm for ages 4-7 | 3:30-4:30 pm for ages 8-12 | Delaware Branch | Create a pet monster to take home, inspired by I Need My Monster by Amanda Noll. Art educator Josette Pastore teaches the sessions. | Register at 463-0254
