Arts & Crafts Workshops Offered in January

We’re hosting a series of activities in January for adults who love to craft!

STITCH ‘N’ SIP
Jan. 5 (Sat)|10:00 am-12:00 pm | Washington Ave. Branch
Knitters and crocheters can bring their own projects and meet other local fiber crafters for this popular Stitch ‘n’ Sip session. Light refreshments, including non-alcoholic beverages, are provided. Please register online or at (518) 427-4303.

FOLDED BOOK ART
Jan. 9 (Wed)|3:30-5:00 pm | Washington Ave. Branch
Books can be transformed into a treasured keepsake after they become old or unwanted. Participants will learn how to upcycle a book into a piece of art by folding the pages into something special. Please register at (518) 427-4303.

KNITTING AND CROCHETING
Jan. 10 (Thurs)|3:30-5:00 pm | Pine Hills Branch

ART CLASS

ACRYLIC PAINTING

SCRAPBOOKING

For National Hobby Month, adults can learn a new hobby: scrapbooking. Participants should bring vacation, family, or pet photos and learn how to mold them into a beautiful book of memories. Guidance and additional supplies will be provided. Register online or at (518) 694-0596.

BUTTON-MAKING WORKSHOP

Participants can “speak their truth” on buttons they create using pictures and words that are meaningful to them. Attendees can bring pictures or words from home, or print phrases or images from the library computers. Space is limited, so please register online or at (518) 463-1581.

3D PRINTING CLASS
