MONDAY, FEB. 27
+ Yoga for families class at the Pine Hills Branch starting at 4 pm. Register at 482-7911.
+ Student financial aid workshop from 5-8 pm at the Main Library. Join us in the computer lab and get help fillig out your FAFSA form for college and get answers about financial aid.
TUESDAY, FEB. 28
+ Book review of “Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman” at 12:15 pm at the Main Library. The reviewer for this Friends of APL event is local attorney Richard King.
+ Introduction to Microsoft Excel class from 1-3 pm at the Main Library. Call 427-4325 to register.
+ 30-minute financial planning consultations in the evening at the Main Library. Call 427-4303 to make an appointment.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 29
+ Zumba exercise class at the Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch starting at 6 pm. Drop in for this fun dance-based class.
+ Pilates class at the Delaware Branch starting at 6:30 pm. Register at 463-0254.
THURSDAY, MARCH 1
+ It’s Seussabration at the Delaware Branch at 4 pm. Bring the kids to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with some Seuss-style fun and games.
FRIDAY, MARCH 2
+ Get help with job searches, resumes, and computer skills in the Main Library computer lab from 10 am-5 pm. The Working Knowledge Public Computing Center trainers offer one-on-one assistance. For more information, call 427-4325.
+ After-school arts and crafts projects from 3-5 pm at the North Albany Branch. Drop in with kids ages 5-12.
SATURDAY, MARCH 3
+ Free income tax preparation at the Main Library from 10 am-3 pm. Drop ins only. Household income limit of $50,000. For information, call the Reference Department at 427-4303.
SUNDAY, MARCH 4
+ Watch “Hugo” in the large auditorium at the Main Library at 2 pm. This family-friendly movie by Martin Scorsese just won five Oscars; come see what it’s all about.
