Monday, July 19
5 pm. Adult learn to read program. Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch.
6 pm. Book discussion group for adults about “The Glass Castle.” North Albany Branch.
Tuesday, July 20
12:15 pm. Friends of APL book review featuring TU Editor Rex Smith on “Rough Justice: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer.” Main Library large auditorium.
2 pm. ReadCycle workshop to make works of art out of old books and found materials. Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch.
Wednesday, July 21
1:30 pm. Talent show for kids. Register at 427-4310. Main Library large auditorium.
6 pm. Teen Tokyo for teens to watch anime, learn to write Japanese characters and eat pocky. Bach Branch
Thursday, July 22
1:30 pm. Out of the Pits pit bull rescue to meet rescued dogs. Howe Branch.
2 pm. Earth Friends at the Grocery Store program, craft and snacks for kids/teens by Honest Weight Food Co-op. Pine Hills Branch.
6 pm. “Making it Last: How to Look After Your Paper Collections” by paper conservator Michele Phillips. Main Library large auditorium.
Friday, July 23
1 pm. Kids make mosaic picture frames after lesson from Mosaics by Christine. Register at 463-0254. Delaware Branch.
5 pm. Acoustic Sidewalk Concert featuring local roots/folk/acoustic rocker Kyle Miller. Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch front sidewalk.
