Entrepreneurs looking for some advice about starting their own small businesses should attend Albany Public Library’s Start Your Own Small Business workshop on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10:30 am to 2 pm at the Main Library (161 Washington Avenue).
The free workshop provides information sessions and resources covering startup business basics including: business plans, financing, legal issues, taxes, marketing, and more. Participating organizations include: Small Business Development Center, Tully Rinckey law firm, Service Corps of Retired Executives, Central Avenue Business Improvement District, and Community Loan Fund.
The workshop is free and lunch is also provided. Registration is required and can be made by calling the Main Library Reference Department at 427-4303 or online.
