Kids, Enjoy the Last Week of Summer Reading Fun

It’s been fun kids, but it’s time to close out the Summer Reading Program for another year. Join your library friends for an awesome end to our summer reading fun!



Magic of Reading Celebration Р2-3:30 pm at Pine Hills Branch

Magician Joey D, prizes, and ice cream sundaes. All ages.

Summer Reading Party — 4-5 pm at Main Library

Make a clay fossil and enjoy snacks, prizes, and raffles. All ages.



Hip Hop Dancing with Albany Salsa — 3-4 pm at Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch

Learn some cool hip hop moves. All ages.

Homespun Family Dance and Summer Reading Party — 6:15-7:45 pm at Bach Branch

Paul Rosenberg and his musicians lead us in a fun family dance. Plus snacks and summer reading prizes. All ages.

Great Potato Chip Challenge — 6:30-8 pm at Main Library

Participate in a blind taste test and pick your favorite chip. Ages 11-17.


Our online calendar lists more activities for kids and teens including story times, LEGO clubs, Wii gaming sessions, and more.
