Occupation, Special Skills: I have worked for New Visions as an Assistant Teacher for people with disabilities since 2005. I have worked at WTEN Channel 10 News. I own Caimans, Alligators and crocodiles. I do educational shows at the Albany Public Library.
Biographical Statement: I was born in the Bronx in 1970. I was raised in Amelia Catano, Puerto Rico I moved back to the Bronx in 1981, and in 1987 I moved back to Albany. I am proud to be born in the Bronx and live in Albany now. I have lived many places in Albany. I lived for 12 years at 41 North Manning Blvd with my four pit bulls, Nicky, Cobra, Pathona and Viper.
I was a candidate for the Library Board in 2007. I was a candidate for the Fourth Legislative District in 2007. I won the primary as an independent. I was an applicant in 2007 to be a member of the Gun Task force. I am a volunteer for Barack Obama for President and Lester Freeman for the 21st Congressional District. I have helped in two campaigns for Mayor and two for Governor. I have talked on Radio 90.9 FM, discussing alligators and my election. I am an activist in Albany speaking against medical misconduct in hospitals and misconduct in City Hall and the Police Department. I have made complaints against the Police Department with the Citizens Police Review Board and the Health Department. I have been in five different newspapers in Albany. I fight against corruption and injustice. I have been doing educational shows in many places in Albany such as the Boy’s and Girls Club, Petco and schools.
Why are you running for Library Trustee?: Because I would like more people from the community to represent the citizens of Albany.

Occupation, Special Skills: Past Secretary for the Capital Hill Architectural Corporation, Nurse, Fundraising for Neighborhood Associations and my church.
Biographical Statement: I am a long time Albany resident and a Democratic committeeperson. This has given me understanding of families and their needs. My work with my church has been vital in my life.
Why are you running for Library Trustee?: I believe that I can help people appreciate all the good things the library offers and help them connect with it. I want the Black Churches in the community to work with the library more than they do now. I want to keep an eye on the new buildings and renovation of branches, to be sure taxpayer money is being spent wisely and efficiently. I would like to continue as a Trustee, working hard to serve the APL and the public.
