Stories & Art in the Park July 10-Aug. 14

July 10, 2017 | Youth Services

We’ve got a special summer series for preschoolers and their families – Stories and Art in the Park!

Every Monday from July 10 through Aug. 14 – at 10:30 to 11:30 am – our librarians perform active storytimes at the Washington Park Playground.

Kids also do fun arts and crafts activities presented by Albany Barn. There’s also time to play with new friends after the formal program. (In case of rain, the program moves to the Washington Ave. Branch of the library.)

Kids will have a chance to meet Bleecker, the library’s owl mascot, at several of the dates. And on July 24, Curious George will make a special appearance courtesy of WMHT PBS Kids.

Stories & Art in the Park programs are brought to you by APL, City of Albany Department of Recreation, WMHT PBS Kids, and Albany Barn.
